Snippets from The Episcopal Church Women
On November 1st All Saints Day Holy Innocent’s Vestry presented our ECW with a plaque of appreciation. It reads:
In Appreciation
This plaque was presented by
The Rector, Church Wardens and Vestry
of
The Church of The Holy Innocents
In thanksgiving for the tireless labor and
many substantive contributions
made to our common life by
The Episcopal Church Women
November 1, 2009
The plaque of Tribute was blessed by Father Frank then placed in the Narthex on the South East wall. Please take a few minutes sometime and reflect on the many women past and present who gave their time, gifts and love to church, community and world. It is wonderful to be a part of such a giving group of women.

At our November ECW meeting we allocated our outreach monies this year to five very fine programs. These programs are: The Children’s Home Society of New Jersey, Interfaith Health and Support Services, St. Francis Center Human Concerns Food Pantry, Atlantic City Rescue Mission and The Episcopal Relief and Development. We would like to thank all of you for your continued support in our many fund raisers.

We are busy getting the 6 Thanksgiving Baskets ready for delivery to some folks in our community. I know they will appreciate your monetary donations (used for food gift cards), baked goods and turkeys. We look forward to sharing our abundance at Christmas with those who are less fortunate so we will appreciate your ongoing support.

ECW CHRISTMAS PARTY!!!

Please Plan To Attend and Join the FUN!
This year we are asking you to bring an appetizer or dessert
We also plan on playing the ECW Christmas exchange game. So if you would like to join in the fun bring a wrapped item from home or a $10 gift to exchange.
Our outreach of the night is collecting NEW Men’s or Women’s Slippers to be taken down to the Atlantic City Rescue Mission. These will be given to the ladies and gentlemen living at the Mission for Christmas. PLEASE DO NOT WRAP SLIPPERS they need to see style and size to give them out.
Looking forward to seeing you All.
