The governing body of an Episcopal Church is

THE RECTOR, CHURCH WARDENS & VESTRY

of the Parish. This is a group consisting of "adult, Confirmed communicants in good standing," elected by the Annual Meeting of the Parish, together with Church Wardens elected by that same Annual Meeting, serving together with a Priest or Bishop called by the Vestry.

The Episcopal Church of The Holy Innocents, Beach Haven is blessed with committed, active leadership. Each of them has unique gifts and strengths, and together they collaborate well to lead ministry. They include:

Mutual Ministry

As Holy Innocents’ Senior Warden for 2009, I look forward to the challenges ahead with excitement, commitment, and a new vision.

 My excitement comes from knowing that we have a church community that has been blessed with many God given talents and it shows by what we have accomplished in His name.

 My commitment is renewed each day by the love and comfort we receive from one another.  More than a community in Christ, we are a family together in Christ.  As a family we have come to know one another’s strengths and challenges. 

My new vision comes from prayer and faith. I asked God, “What can I do?”

I found the Mutual Ministry Cycle. The Mutual Ministry Cycle will help us answer the question….What has God asked us to do here at Holy Innocents and how are we to do it? My faith is that you will join in making the Mutual Ministry our ministry, one that will improve and maintain the health of our church.
